As part of NASA International Schools’ ongoing commitment to fostering digital awareness and cybersecurity literacy among our students, we were proud to participate in the Hackwave Cybersecurity Event hosted by the University of Jeddah.
This enriching educational experience exposed students to essential concepts in digital protection, data privacy, and online safety through a series of hands-on workshops and interactive cybersecurity challenges.

Enriching Experience from Hackwave Cybersecurity Event 2025 Visit
In alignment with our mission, the HackWave 2025 educational visit offered an additional layer of value. Organized by the BAIS Department at CBA, UBT—led by Dr. Nihel Halouani, Head of Department, and Dr. Fozan Slaghor—the visit enabled students to engage deeply in interactive cybersecurity workshops and applied challenges.
Participants explored advanced topics including:
- Ethical hacking
- Digital defense mechanisms
- System protection techniques
